We are currently completing the more than 170 projects on the capital works program for the 2024/25 financial year.

- Beckenham Level Crossing Removal – Metronet are continuing their work to remove the level crossing and provide a new Beckenham Train Station.
- Ranford Road, Canning Vale – Work continues on the installation of new bus lanes between Queensgate Drive and Campbell Road. During February, pram ramps and path connection works will commence. The City is currently experiencing delays with this project due to changes in design at the Nicholson Road and Ranford Road intersection and approval from Main Roads WA.
- Bracadale Park, Canning Vale – Now open to the public. Further planting will occur once capacity testing has taken place during the winter season.
- Spencer Road, Langford – Stage 1 of living stream construction commences with rock pitching to protect walls from erosion.
- Langford Indoor Sports Centre – Have you seen the plans for Langford Oval? View the fly through video of the new indoor sports centre on the project page.
- Mary Carroll Park, Gosnells – The installation of the new Eudoria Street Hub continues at Mary Carroll Park. Landscape works will be continuing during February, including installation of rubber and mulch softfalls, tree and shrub plantings, garden bed mulching and fencing.
- Gosnells Oval All-abilities – This new all abilities playground is now open.
- Station Street Bridge, Gosnells – this month will see Station Street closed for approximately 12 months to allow for the construction of a new two-lane bridge. Residents are asked to find alternative routes.
- Seaforth Avenue, Gosnells - Work has commenced on a new shared path along Seaforth Avenue, Gosnells. This will go from Hicks Street to the end of the cul-de-sac near Tonkin Highway and will include piping of an open drain.
- Kelvin Road, Maddington – Planting is scheduled to commence during cooler months, approximately May.
- Woodswallow Parkway Reserve - Procurement and scheduling of work at the park has commenced. Potentially the site will be fenced and bulk earthworks commence in late February.
- Dunnell Park - Planning and procurement have commenced for this park upgrade and will continue during February.
- Boyle Playground, Orange Grove – the new all-abilities playground is now open.
- Barrett Street, Southern River – The final section of the new pedestrian walkway is under construction, now that additional clearing permits have been approved. The City has completed the chicane design and is waiting for Western Power to approve the design and install street lights.
- YES Sutherlands Park – construction of the 100-metre roof is continuing at the future Sutherlands Park Youth Entertainment Space.
- Southern River Business Park – the construction of the new Southern River Business Park is continuing with the work being completed by our contractors Densford Civil.
- Spencer Road, Thornlie – The pavement will be reconstructed and road resurfaced between Hume and Spring Roads.
- Warton Road, Thornlie - The City will continue works to replace the footpath on the Thornlie side of Warton Road, from Discovery Drive to Spencer Road.
