The public is advised that the City of Gosnells intends to lease the whole of site located at Lot 210 on Plan 2566 for the permitted purpose of office use on the following terms:

Property to be leased: 1510m2 of Lot 210 Wheatley Street, Gosnells

Lessee: Training Alliance Group

Commencement Date: 1 December 2025

Consideration: $34,000 plus GST increased by CPI annually

Market Value: $34,000 per annum, plus GST. Valuation obtained less than 6 months before the proposed disposition. The City believes it to be a true indication of the value at the time.

The public is advised that the City of Gosnells intends to introduce a new fee to provide a discount for not for profit groups holding social functions at City facilities as follows:

Booking type: Social function hire - incorporated/not for profit groups

Proposed fee: 25% discount on the social function hire rate

Commencement date: 26 September 2025

Presented to Council: OCM 23 September 2025, Resolution 257

A schedule of the fees and charges is available for inspection at the City's Civic Centre and libraries and is also available on the City's website.

The City of Gosnells advises road users that the section of Bickley Road, Beckenham, between Dulwich Street and Brixton Street, will be closed for Fusion Food and Culture Festival, a community event,

Friday 7 November from 3pm to 10pm and

Saturday 8 November 2025 from 3pm – 10.30pm

Local traffic should be aware that detours will be in place and additional traffic management positioned on Brixton Street to manage event traffic.

Notice is given of the following meeting dates and times for the City of Gosnells for 2025.

Ordinary meetings will be held on Tuesdays at 7pm in the Council Chambers at the City's Civic Centre, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells.

Special Council Meetings will be held for Budget approval in July commencing at 6.30pm and after the Council Election in October commencing at 6pm.

Agendas will be available for viewing at the Civic Centre, City libraries and online at gosnells.wa.gov.au on the Friday before each meeting.

Minutes will be available for viewing on the Friday after each meeting at the above locations.

In accordance with Section 6.20(2) of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Gosnells gives notice that at its meeting on 25 February 2025, Council resolved to borrow $3 million to partially fund the acquisition of the property located at 95 Victoria Road, Maddington. This land is required for the extension of Clifford Street so that it connects to Victoria Road.

The loan will be sourced through the Western Australian Treasury Corporation at a fixed interest rate of 4.26% per annum over a five-year term.
