The City is required to provide public notices for various matters that may affect the community, including information about road closures, meetings, tenders and many other matters. Public notices could also give you the opportunity to provide feedback or ask questions about the issue at hand.

2024/25 ANNUAL REPORT AND ANNUAL ELECTORS’ MEETING
The City of Gosnells’ Annual Report for 2024/25 is now available for viewing at the City of Gosnells Civic Centre, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells, at any of the City’s libraries at Gosnells, Thornlie, Mills Park or Amherst Village, as well as the City’s website at www.gosnells.wa.gov.au.
The Community is invited to attend the Annual Electors’ Meeting in the Function Room at the City of Gosnells Civic Centre, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells on Tuesday, 3 February 2026 commencing at 6pm to discuss the contents of the Annual Report and any other general business.

Public notice is given of the following meeting dates and times for the City of Gosnells Council for 2026. Ordinary Council Meetings commence at 7pm in the Council Chambers at the City’s Civic Centre, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells.
A Special Council Meeting to approve the budget will be held in July commencing at 6:30pm.
Agendas will be available for the public at the Civic Centre, City libraries and online at gosnells.wa.gov.au on the Friday before each meeting, with Minutes available at the above locations on the Friday following each meeting. Members of the public are welcome to attend, with doors opening at 6:45pm. Alternatively, live-streaming is available on the City of Gosnells Council Meeting YouTube channel.

At its meeting of 16 December 2025, Council resolved to advertise proposed Local Planning Policy 1.5 – Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation.
The draft policy will provide valuable guidance to operators of Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation developments within the City and provide the City's position and requirements in relation to such proposals.

City of Gosnells Amendment Local Law 2025
At its meeting on 28 October 2025, the City of Gosnells resolved to make the above local law.
The purpose of the local law is to amend the City of Gosnells Public Health Local Law 2017, the City of Gosnells Fencing Local Law 2017, the City of Gosnells Dogs Local Law 2020 and the City of Gosnells Parking Local Law 2012.
The effect of the local law is to increase penalties prescribed in the local laws to reflect the seriousness of various offences and recent amendments to the Local Government Act, and to enable the City to regulate parking in electric vehicle charging bays.
A copy of the local law may be viewed at the City’s Civic Centre at 2120 Albany Highway Gosnells between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and at the City's libraries during normal opening hours, or on the City’s website at www.gosnells.wa.gov.au.
This local law was gazetted on 7 November 2025 and will come into operation 14 days after this date.

In accordance with Section 6.20(2) of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Gosnells gives notice that at its meeting on 25 February 2025, Council resolved to borrow $3 million to partially fund the acquisition of the property located at 95 Victoria Road, Maddington. This land is required for the extension of Clifford Street so that it connects to Victoria Road.
The loan will be sourced through the Western Australian Treasury Corporation at a fixed interest rate of 4.26% per annum over a five-year term.
