The City of Gosnells seeks your feedback on the proposed Patio & Carport at 34 (Lot 97) Hilton Crescent Maddington.

The application includes:

A patio and carport addition to the existing single storey dwelling.

The proposed carport does not comply with the requirements of the Residential Design Codes (R-Codes), as:

  • The carport structure including the existing carport has a reduced set back from the lot boundary. The proposal varies the required 1m lot boundary setback shown on the plans for advertising.

The application has been advertised as the Lot Boundary Setbacks do not comply with the ‘Deemed-to-Comply” requirements of the R-Codes and Local Planning Policy 1.1.
