The City of Gosnells seeks your feedback on the proposed Outbuilding at 19 (Lot 559) Kirin Way Maddington.

The application includes:

The application seeks Development Approval for an Outbuilding (Shed) which features a boundary wall that is 3.37m in height and 5m in length to the south-eastern side, and 6.15m in length to the south-western side.

Although the proposed Outbuilding is set back 500mm to the lot boundaries, walls that are set back less than 600mm constitute as boundary walls under the Residential Design Codes. Boundary walls are generally not permitted in sites zoned Residential R17.5. Meanwhile, Local Planning Policy 1.1 - Residential Development permits maximum wall heights of up to 3m for Outbuildings.
