At the Council meeting of 25 November 2025 Council resolved to advertise the proposed modified Local Planning Policy 3.5 - Infill Development.

The proposed modifications remove the need for the external appearance of existing dwellings to be upgraded, increases the threshold for Public Open Space contributions, removes requirements that are covered under other policies and updates references to the Local Planning Scheme.

Public comments will be considered by Council before the policy is adopted.
