The City is progressing the playground renewals for this year.

The City of Gosnells is home to over 350 parks and reserves, and within those parks there are 206 playgrounds.

These playgrounds are all maintained by the City including regular maintenance, safety audits, and asset renewal or replacement.

Every year the City renews a number of playgrounds based on the age of the equipment, and the condition it is in.

Renewal involves a like for like replacement of playing equipment and rubber soft fall. This year, when play equipment is replaced at parks the City will also formally name the park, and register this with Landgate.

During the 2024/25 financial year the City will renew eight playgrounds. These playgrounds are located at:

  • Greenway Avenue Reserve, Thornlie
  • Bottlebrush Drive Reserve, Thornlie
  • Barson Court Reserve, Thornlie
  • Westfield Street Reserve, Maddington
  • Admiralty Road Reserve, Canning Vale
  • Pinaster Boulevard Reserve, Canning Vale
  • Redfox Crescent Reserve, Huntingdale
  • Cardington Way Reserve, Huntingdale

Playgrounds will be closed for four weeks while the work is completed. See below for information about your nearest park.
