Passenger services will commence on 9 June 2025 on the new METRONET Thornlie - Cockburn Line.

To enable efficient access to the new Nicholson Road train station, Nicholson Road was upgraded to include a two-lane right turn onto Panama Street and a signalised pedestrian crossing between Vostan Road and Canna Drive. Access to the station will be via Tulloch Way and Panama Street for passenger parking or drop-off at the station.

To ensure there is sufficient space to enable two-way uninterrupted traffic flow in what will be a high frequency bus route, the City of Gosnells will implement parking restrictions on inbound lanes.

Planning is underway to construct parking embayments on the outbound lanes to further improve smooth flowing traffic.
