The City will upgrade the landscape features at Hardinge Park in Orange Grove.

Hardinge Park is located next to the Bickley Brook Reservoir and is a particular favourite of bush walkers. The work will revitalise the park and provide safer walkways and additional signage.

The City will upgrade a number of the existing facilities over the next two financial years, over two stages. Work on stage one will start in June 2026.

Works to be completed are:

  • Removal of existing ageing infrastructure such as asphalt and bollards
  • New concrete path to lookout point overlooking the valley, with new seat and sunlounger
  • New concrete pavement to picnic area
  • New accessible double hotplate barbecue with new shade shelter over
  • New signage
  • Repairs and painting to existing picnic shelter and furniture
  • New rubbish bin locations
