We are designing new paths along Garden Street, Thornlie and Bickley Road, Beckenham.
As part of this early design work, the City is seeking community feedback on a possible shared path alignment before any decisions are made.
These paths are part of the City's approved Bike Plan and will be built in partnership with the Department of Transport to meet the Perth and Peel Long-Term Cycle Network.
Benefits of paths
- Great for all ages - they enable prams, young children on bikes, wheelchairs and mobility scooters
- Encourage physical activity by making it easier to get around
- Improved pedestrian safety, with a buffer between people on foot and vehicles
- Improved connectivity to parks, shops, schools and community facilities
How to provide your feedback:
- View the path proposals in the 'document library'
- Complete the survey
- Alternatively, you can contact the City via email or phone
Feedback for this project closes on Monday 8 June 2026.
