The City of Gosnells proposes to prohibit parking on the southern side of Freight Road, Kenwick (the side with odd street numbers) in a bid to increase safety.

This road is part of the Maddington Kenwick Strategic Employment Area (MKSEA) where 36.5 metre long vehicles (RAV 7) are permitted to travel and access properties.

Frequent parking on Freight Road means that those vehicles have significantly reduced space to manoeuvre, and this causes difficulty in entering and existing businesses.

Results from previous consultation were inconclusive, and we are re-investigating following feedback that parking issues are increasing as businesses grow. Please have your say on the proposal:
