The City is required to provide public notices for various matters that may affect the community, including information about road closures, meetings, tenders and many other matters. Public notices could also give you the opportunity to provide feedback or ask questions about the issue at hand.

  • Tender 08/2022 - Pest Management Services

    Description: The City is seeking to engage a Contractor to undertake Pest Management Services within Principal owned buildings and reserves for a three year term, with the option to extend for a further two years.

    Deadline is Tuesday, 21 June 2022 at 2:00pm (AWST).

  • Revoked Local Planning Policy 2.3 – Lodging Houses and Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

    Council at its meeting on 24 May 2022 resolved to revoke Local Planning Policy 2.3 (LPP 2.3). An extremely low number of applications for these uses have been received by the City since this policy was adopted in 2003 therefore it is deemed unnecessary.

  • Tender 06/2022 - Design and Construction of New Facilities at Mary Carroll Park

    CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.

    Description: The City is seeking to engage a suitably experienced and qualified registered builder for the design, supply and construction of a Changing Places ablutions building, including unisex toilet, ambulant toilet and storage room at Mary Carroll Park.

    A statement of Rating Objects and Reasons explaining the proposed differential rates is available for inspection at the City's Civic Centre, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells, City libraries and the City's website. Submissions are invited and should be forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Gosnells, PO Box 662, Gosnells WA 6990 by 4pm, Friday 24 June 2022.

  • Proposed Road Closure - portion of Crosby Chase, Beckenham

    The City proposes to request the Minister for Land to close a portion of Crosby Chase road reserve, pursuant to Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997 and amalgate that land with the adjoining land parcels.

    The proposed closure is to facilitate the development of the Yule Brook Structure Plan.

    Before considering the proposal, Council invites all written submissions by 5pm, 15 June 2022.

    It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the City of Gosnells Town Planning Scheme amendment on 27 April 2022 for the purpose of:

    1. Amend the Scheme Map to reclassify a portion of Charles Hook Park being Lots 1211, 2496, 2513 Princess Street, Lots 2403, 4053 Scole Place, Huntingdale from Local Open Space to Residential R25 and no zone.
    2. Amending the Scheme Map accordingly.

  • Proposed Road Reserve Dedication - Brentwood and Boundary Road, Kenwick

    The upgrade of the Tonkin Highway Grade separation (Welshpool Road to Brentwood Road) is currently in progress by Main Roads WA. On behalf of Main Roads WA, the City proposes to request the Minister for Lands to dedicate a portion of 5 Lots - Lot 8 on Diagram 53266 Boundary Road, Lot 500 on DP50748 Brentwood Road, Lot 216 on Plan 3380 Brentwood Road, Lot 5 on Diagram 17643 Brentwood Road and Lot 6 on Diagram 17643 Brentwood Road Kenwick, as road reserve pursuant to Section 56 of the Land Administration Act 1997.


    Council invites all written submissions to PO BOX 662 Gosnells WA 6990 or council@gosnells.wa.gov.au before 5pm on 11 May 2022.
