The City proposes to relocate its Operations Centre from Maddington to the City’s remediated waste site at Kelvin Road, Orange Grove. The new Centre, covering 7ha, will support the delivery of services including parks, reserves and natural areas, vehicles, plant and equipment, waste management, and engineering design, construction and maintenance for traffic, roads, storm water, parking and street lighting. The remaining 29ha to the north-east will be developed as public open space, funded by the proposed development of the nearby former trotting track into rural residential lots.
