What is happening
The City is progressing playground renewals for this year.
The City of Gosnells is home to more than 350 parks and reserves, and within those parks there are over 200 playgrounds.
These playgrounds are all maintained by the City including regular maintenance, safety audits, and asset renewal or replacement.
Every year the City renews a number of playgrounds based on the age of the equipment, and the condition it is in.
Renewal involves a like for like replacement of playing equipment and soft fall.
During the 2025/26 financial year the following playgrounds will be renewed:
- Claridge Park, Thornlie
- McMahon Park, Thornlie
Playgrounds will be closed for approximately two weeks while the work is completed. See below for information about your nearest park.
-
McMahon Park, Thornlie
