Limbee Glade Reserve in Huntingdale is a drainage reserve and public open space that typically floods in winter.
As part of the City's commitment to provide adequate protection from stormwater damage and suitable levels of public open space, this drainage asset is being transformed. The drainage swale has been converted to an underground drainage storage system, which will allow the remaining area to be turfed and irrigated. Some new nature play equipment will be installed including log steppers and a bird nest swing.
To increase the level of access, new pathways will be installed around the park and new trees will be planted to increase the level of shade across the reserve.
Safe removal of asbestos-contaminated material has been completed.
The following works will now occur:
- Concrete footpath installation
 - Irrigation installation
 - Installation of concrete kerbs and limestone retaining walls to form garden beds
 - Playground and park furniture installation
 - Landscaping including turf, trees and plants.

As this is a local park, the level of new amenities will meet the standards of local parks within the City, such as Rosebud Park and Redfox Park.
BOS Civil has been appointed to complete this work on the City's behalf.
