Limbee Glade Reserve in Huntingdale is a drainage reserve and public open space that typically floods in winter.

As part of the City's commitment to provide adequate protection from stormwater damage and suitable levels of public open space, this drainage asset will soon be transformed. The current drainage swale will be converted to an underground drainage storage system. This will allow the remaining area to be turfed and irrigated. Some new nature play equipment will be installed including log steppers and a bird nest swing.

To increase the level of access, new pathways will be installed around the park and new trees will be planted to increase the level of shade across the reserve.

Turf installation will occur once the irrigation is operational, dependent on the timing of supply of power to the site by Western Power.

As this is a local park, the level of new amenities will meet the standards of local parks within the City, such as Rosebud Park and Redfox Park.

BOS Civil has been appointed to complete this work on our behalf, which is scheduled to commence 28 April 2025.
