The details of the cat management survey will be presented to the Ordinary Council Meeting to be held on 28 March 2023. Residents are welcome to attend the Council meeting which starts from 7pm.

Background

The City is seeking your feedback on how cats should be managed in the City of Gosnells. This is in response to community concerns over the impact cats can have on native fauna, and the nuisance cats can cause for local residents.

Local Governments are able to limit the number of cats people may keep, prohibit cats from being in certain locations, requires cats kept in particular areas to be confined to the property on which they are kept, and to deal with cats causing a nuisance.

Before it considers any measures to manage cats, the City would like your feedback.
