Update

Thank you to all who completed a survey regarding the proposed hardstand. The Public Transport Authority has been advised of the overwhelming support and a request made for the upgrade to be included in their 2026/27 program.

Background

The City of Gosnells is seeking support from nearby residents for an upgrade of Bus Stop 29573 to a concrete hardstand. The bus stop is on Garden Street in Canning Vale, before The Bridgeway.

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) has an annual Bus Stop Accessibility Works Program. Your support will assist with the City's application to PTA for this work to be included in their program next financial year.

As well as improving accessibility, a hardstand will prevent muddy water pooling underfoot for those waiting for a bus.
