The playground at Auckland Park has been replaced with a combination play unit with slides, swings and some nature play elements. In addition, some inclusive equipment such as a basket swing, sway hammock and rocker has been installed.

The sloping site and consequent drainage issues have been rectified, limestone seating walls removed, and footpath replaced.

Existing trees have been retained and protected and the existing garden bed has been re-mulched.

There has been a delay in installation of the shade sail posts, with a February delivery expected.
